Although Engagement Rings traditionally have a white Diamond as the center stone, yours doesn’t have to. Since the first Diamond Engagement Ring in 1477, white Diamonds have been the most popular center stone. But if you want something a little different, there are plenty of options.
Fancy-Colored Diamond Engagement Rings
Instead of a white Diamond, you can opt for a Lab-Grown or Natural fancy-colored Diamond. They come in all shades, from red to blue to yellow and black. Red Diamonds the rarest and most expensive, Black Diamonds are the most common and most affordable.
It’s important to note that a standard diamond tester will not test for fancy-colored Diamonds. However, Yellow, Red, and other expensive fancy-colored Diamonds will often come with a GIA or IGI Grading report, authenticating the stone as a real Diamond. Gemstone Engagement Rings

Outside of Diamonds, you can use a gemstone, such as a Sapphire, Ruby, Emerald, etc. to create a beautiful Engagement Ring with a pop of color. Consider having your special someone’s birthstone as the center stone. Here’s a chart with all the birthstones by month. If they were born in April, we’re back to square one ????
You can also combine a white Diamond and a Gemstone, for the perfect combination of classic and color. Check out this gorgeous Moi e Toi Engagement Ring and answer these 4 quick questions for a quote on your own Dream Ring ????????
