18kt Gold

75% Pure Gold and 25% alloys (Silver, Nickel and Zinc). 18kt is 20% heavier than 14kt and has higher Gold content, but is softer and scratches more easily. 18kt Yellow Gold is a deeper yellow color than 14kt Yellow Gold, 18kt White and 14kt White Gold look identical.

950 Platinum

95% Pure Platinum and 5% Ruthenium. a bright, luxurious metal, Platinum is 70% heavier than 14kt Gold, but also scratches very easily.
